Portrait of a young woman with long brown hair and green eyes against a dark background.

I currently provide therapy and coaching in person in Queen’s Park and online over Zoom.

I have more than five years of experience as a:

  • Life coach and mental health counsellor

  • Investigator and journalist on coercive and cult psychology

I have worked with people with complex long-term mental health problems, those going through professional and personal crises, and those seeking personal development.

My clients describe me as highly skilled, perceptive, intuitive and empathetic.

Expertise

Coercive Psychology, Integrative psychotherapy, and life coaching

I work with people over sixteen years old, in a wide range of circumstances. From people with complex long-term mental health problems, to those going through personal or professional crises, and those just seeking personal development.

My life coaching work involves improving relationships with peers and colleagues, improving work-life balance, discussing career progression and changes, family dynamics and relationships, and interpersonal social relationships.

My mental health counselling work includes developing self-reflection skills and mental clarity. Focusing on improving day-to-day and long-term well being, identifying and evaluating underlying beliefs, and helping break self-destructive patterns.

I have investigated and written on the psychology of coersion and cults operating at a global scale. My study of such social systems from within features in my work. Which includes incisive and specific targeting of generational myths, mentally isolating beliefs, and feeling of depersonalisation.

My approach helps to identify and untangle detrimental mental frameworks by collaborating with you on personalised strategies to improve functioning. And by facilitating safe self-evaluation to address debilitating symptoms of personality difficulties that can lead to self-defeating ways of interacting with others.

My Approach

I am motivated by curiosity and the scope-redefining nature of discovery. By my optimism in finding common ground in the different ways we view the world. Professionally and personally, I’m most driven by my curiosity about how and why we make the choices that we do. No matter how difficult the circumstances, I believe there is always a way to find personal meaning in them and shared understanding.

Therapy is a collaborative practice, a moment to work on our journeys with a second pair of eyes and hands to ground us, rather than go it alone. I use that moment as an opportunity to safely step us outside of our problems and spirals. To reexamine them, then resume our lives with a clearer understanding of who we are, what we want, and which steps can we take next to achieve that. I believe the narratives of our lives are ours to define, and it is never too late, or too little, to start

I like to collaborate for our understanding of you and your unique history and goals. My approach as a counsellor and therapist is incisive, collaborative and founded on the creativity of moment to moment being. On our fundamental ability to self-define in the freedom of our everyday choices, and on how these choices change us. My method includes identifying the constricting definitions we may not notice we carry. Relaxing these definitions constricting our reality and individuality, we can write and begin to accept our narratives as we truly are. To live the authenticity of our being, and bring about what you desire to see in your life and yourself.
